These dying leaves are not too far from the entrance to Ronde , the area of about 1 metre square ie the interior " doormat " looked a bit shabby , maybe they ( Ronde ) could get someone to cobble this area ? Just the tops of the cobbles , that is .Maybe a project for Simon Muir ?Ivan
....or Gray Concrete who made and installed fantastic 'fake cobbles' over the top of original ones (historic scotland requirement) at the peoples museum on the royal mile in Edinburgh.Check out their web site and could we have the 'real' story behind the leaves Andy !
ah the leaves, they are of Lombardian origin and were imported especially by a couple of "my good friends", Ivan a man of your knowledge may be aware of this but i believe there does exist a bicycle shop in Barcelona named Pave that apparently sports a floor covered in kinderkoppen
I still think it would look quite good in that small " vestibule " area , maybe something like that suggested by Dynamo Works.Ronde means many things but when people think of De Ronde then what springs to mind is these steep cobbled ramps.Who cares what Pave has done , it's soulless and sterile.Ivan
Agreed on Pave Ivan, it dosen't look like they would welcome a bunch of riders covered in the debris of West Lothian roads.
