It never ceases to amaze me how ill attended Meadowbank velodrome is, a few weeks of youthful exuberance lulled me into the false sense of security that perhaps there are others out there that take pleasure in the viewing of track racing while bathed in golden sunlight without any financial burden attached. Maybe its the fear of disappearing through the stand rather than sitting in it that deters some of a less adventurous nature than myself, but my advice is to catch it while you can, as the sounds emitting from the boards of late does not inspire thoughts of a long life. I hope i'm wrong.
